The 2018 Farm bill made hemp and all of its parts and isomers including CBD, CDG, CDN, legal as long as they contain less than .3% Delta-9 THC by weight. So yes, CBD is federally legal! Some states vary in what they allow for CBD and hemp products, so check in with your local laws.

Generally yes. Many CBD products do contain trace amounts of THC (.3% or less by weight). Anything labeled as "full spectrum" will contain those trace amounts of THC, which help the CBD, CBG, etc. to be more effective. Products labeled as "broad spectrum" have the THC removed to the point of non-detection in lab tests but still contain all the other wonderful cannabinoids found naturally in hemp. Products labeled as using pure "CBD isolate" have just that CBD and nothing else.

Yes and no... It depends on the product and where you are traveling to. Most CBD tinctures, and topicals are fine to take on any plane (as long as they meet the travel size requirements). Just be aware of states like Idaho, who do not allow any amount of THC in any product. Other products like smokables (pre-rolls), even while being federally legal, may get you into trouble with TSA and are not work taking with you.

Unfortunately, there is no clear yes for this. Because of the different types of tests used, even products like CBD Isolate, may show up as a positive on a drug test. So if your job or any other situation may require drug testing, its better not to chance it.
